Maryland has raised the minimum wage to $15 per hour across the state, as of January 1, 2024, under Md. Code, Lab. & Empl. § 3-413.

Maryland a few years ago implemented a rising minimum wage schedule, and in 2023, Maryland sped the schedule up to reach $15 per hour this year, under Maryland's Fair Wage Act of 2023.  The Act also repealed a mechanism for automatic annual increases based upon annual determinations and an assessment of the regional and national consumer price index, via Senate Bill 555 (2023), which became the Act.

In other words, Maryland's minimum wage is $15 per hour in 2024 and until further notice by the Maryland Legislature.  Governor Wes Moore signed the Fair Wage Act of 2023.
