Employee Rights and Employment Law
Mr. Mosson is an Employee Rights and Employment Law Attorney. He focuses on representing employees in claims of illegal discrimination, retaliation, disability rights violations, wrongful termination, FMLA violations. employment contract disputes, and owed wages. He prosecutes legal claims under the Americans for Disabilities Act, Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, U.S. Family Medical Leave Act; concerning age, gender, national origin and race discrimination; Maryland’s wage and discrimination laws, unemployment benefits, whistleblower claims, and under Maryland common law. He regularly practices in state and federal court to protect employee rights.
Gregg Mosson also counsels employees navigating the workplace. Sometimes, one can meet a challenge rather than need a lawsuit. He offers confidential consultations as well as negotiation representation, outside Court.
For instance, he has experience helping employees with Human Resources obtain FMLA Leave, for example, or obtain a grievance procedure and form, before the denial of these forms and rights leads to a termination and/or a lawsuit. Mr. Mosson consults on a confidential basis in one-hour legal consultations, and in ongoing manners, to help his clients solve workplace problems.
